KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 15 Tennessee topped the Bradley Braves, 10-2, and improved to 16-2. The Vols run ruled the Braves in six innings, the ninth time they have won by run rule this season.
Tennessee struck first in the bottom half of the third inning on a single from Chelsea Seggern, scoring Meghan Gregg from second. UT continued to tally runs when Scarlet McSwain laced a hotshot back at the pitcher, who could only knock it down, to drive in Abby Lockman on the play.
The Big Orange tacked on two more runs in the third when Cailin Hannon singled to center field to plate Taylor Rowland and Seggern.
