All five BG starters score in double digits in Saturday's setback
A furious fourth-quarter comeback lifted the University of Akron to a 76-73 win over the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 11) at the Stroh Center.
With the win, the Zips improve to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in Mid-American Conference play.
The Falcons (7-8, 0-3 MAC) saw all five starters score in double digits for the second time this season. Sophomore Kadie Hempfling led the way with 15 points, while junior Angela Perry had 13.
