Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Cameron Wright and soccer player Maureen Kennedy.
Cameron Wright, a junior from Newmarket, Ontario, tallied his first career hat trick en route to four goals in Bowling Green's win over in-state rival Miami University. He scored two goals, including one on the power play, in the second period to allow BGSU to take the lead.
