MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Bowling Green women's soccer program faced Robert Morris in exhibition play Saturday afternoon, and posted a 2-1 final on the road to kick off the 2016 season.
After RMU seized a 1-0 lead early in first half, the Falcons responded with goals in the 41st and 80th minutes to come back and take the match. Freshman midfielder Hannah Dolfuss was the first to strike with an unassisted blast 30 yards out that went in off the left post to even the field.
The match was then held at one goal apiece until the 80th minute, when redshirt sophomore Erica Hubert was able to attack with a diagonal through ball into the box, to tuck in the match winner inside the far right post.
