BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Bowling Green hockey's freshman forward Connor Ford captured his first career WCHA weekly award after a team-leading four point performance at Ferris State this past weekend. By one goal and three assists, Ford was named WCHA Rookie of the Week.
As the Falcons earned a 6-3 win on Saturday evening against the Bulldogs, Ford tallied a career-high three-point night with his fourth goal of the season and a pair of assists. The Pittsburgh, Pa. native's goal lifted the Falcons to a quick 2-0 lead against the WCHA foe, while he also assisted on Sam Craggs' game-tying goal.
