BOWLING GREEN — It wasn’t too long ago that Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team was at its lowest point of the season.
Back-to-back blowout losses at Kent State (75-57) and Central Michigan (90-71) in late January and early February were the tail end of a season-long five-game losing streak. It put the Falcons at 2-7 in the Mid-American Conference and in need of a huge finish just to even be in consideration of reaching the league tournament.
