BOWLING GREEN — Dennis Williams was given an opportunity too good to pass up at this point in his hockey coaching career.
Williams, a former player for Bowling Green State University who also had several different coaching gigs with the program early in his career, was introduced as the Falcons’ hockey coach during a news conference Thursday morning at the Stroh Center. He couldn’t be more thrilled to be back at a place that has meant so much to him.
“Given this opportunity, it was something I couldn’t turn down right now,” Williams said. “If it was any other school, it would probably have been a hard no.
