Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are basketball players Demajeo Wiggins and Sydney Lambert.
Male Athlete of the Week
Demajeo Wiggins, a senior from Toledo, led Bowling Green to a MAC opening victory at Kent State Saturday (Jan. 5) evening. Wiggins posted his nation-leading 11th double-double, as he went 8-for-14 (57.1 percent) from the field to finish with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
