BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s football team won’t have to flip-flop back and forth between Mid-American Conference play and nonleague games like last year.
The Falcons can turn all of their attention to trying to accomplish their main goal for the season, and it begins on Saturday with a matchup at Akron.
“It’s nice. Last year, we had a really tough schedule getting Ohio right after Michigan, and then we played Miami after Georgia Tech,” BGSU senior quarterback Connor Bazelak said. “Those two teams were top of the MAC, so this year, Akron’s a great team that we’ve got to prepare for.
