BOWLING GREEN — When Bowling Green State University’s football team hosts Old Dominion on Saturday, nearly a month will have passed since the Falcons last played a game at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Scot Loeffler feels that’s long enough.
“I am, and I know our team is, I know our staff is; we are jacked to get back home,” the sixth-year BGSU coach said. “That crowd that we had in Week 1 (41-17 win over Fordham on Aug. 29) was awesome, and I think we’ll have a ridiculous showing for this ODU game.
“ … I can’t tell you how excited we are to be back at home and get to play in front of our people.
