As Bowling Green State University’s football team continues its quest for a spot in the Mid-American Conference championship game, an intriguing individual matchup highlights the Falcons’ matchup at Ball State on Saturday.
Two of the top tight ends in the FBS in BGSU junior Harold Fannin, Jr., and Ball State junior Tanner Koziol will be squaring off. Both have been heavily utilized not only this season, but in their college careers as well with their respective teams.
“That position is valuable. In my opinion, when you can run the ball enough and you can use the tight end, it really opens up the wide receivers,” BGSU coach Scot Loeffler said.
