Mid-American Conference Release (getsomemaction.com) CLEVELAND, Ohio – Darius Wade, a graduate transfer quarterback on the BGSU football team, has been named the MAC East Offensive Player of Week. The league office announced its first set of weekly honors on Monday (Sept. 2) morning. Wade made his Bowling Green debut in the Falcons' 46-3 win over Morgan State in the 2019 season opener at Doyt Perry Stadium on Thursday (Aug. 29) evening.
Wade completed 22-of-32 passes for 253 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions. The southpaw also earned 42 rushing yards for 295 yards of total offense.
