EAST LANSING, Mich. — Former Bowling Green State University women’s basketball mentor Robyn Fralick was introduced as Michigan State University’s coach during a press conference Tuesday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
Fralick was announced as the new Spartans’ coach Friday, two days after the Falcons completed a 31-7 season that included their first Women’s National Invitation Tournament semifinal appearance in program history.
“It’s an incredible day to return to the state of Michigan and become the head women’s basketball coach at Michigan State University,” said Fralick, who grew up in Okemos, Mich., which neighbors East Lansing.
