BOWLING GREEN — Trey Thomas and Sam Towns want another shot at a full season on the hardwood after injuries impacted their 2023-24 campaigns for Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team.
The senior leaders don’t have any plans on being anywhere else but in northwest Ohio.
Thomas, a 6-foot point guard who transferred from Vanderbilt prior to last season, and Towns, a 6-9 forward who has spent the last two seasons with the Falcons after transferring from Ohio, will be using their final year of eligibility to play for BGSU next season. Both players have appeared in and started numerous games for the Falcons and will be key leaders for second-year coach Todd Simon.
