BOWLING GREEN — When Ashley Tunstall joined the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team after two seasons at Owens Community College, her goal was a simple one.
“I just wanted to play,” she said. “I wanted to find a place where I would fit in with my teammates and my coaches, and I definitely found that.”
BG honored Tunstall along with fellow seniors Leah Bolton, Rachel Konieczki and Abby Siefker prior to Saturday’s 75-65 loss to Miami at the Stroh Center.
Tunstall saved her best for her final game at the Stroh, scoring a career-high 20 points.
