BOWLING GREEN — The middle of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association is wide open.
Bowling Green State University controls its destiny in some aspects but, with four games to play, the Falcons could realistically end up in one of four seeds for the CCHA’s postseason tournament.
“I’m not, by any means, a mathematician, but I do know if there’s one way to assure yourself you’re in the top four, that’s to beat the teams you’re playing,” Falcons coach Ty Eigner said. “We’re playing the teams that are directly behind us in the standings so, if we want to play the first round at Slater Family [Ice] Arena, that’s a pretty simple formula.
