HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Bowling Green State University hockey team captured the weekend sweep over Alabama Huntsville on Saturday (Feb. 29) with a 4-1 final, marking the fourth consecutive win for the Falcons and extending their unbeaten streak to eight games, being 6-0-2 over the span. On the offense, the Orange and Brown were led by three power play goals capped off by an empty-netter to secure the victory. The win puts the Falcons regular season record at 19-13-4 overall and 14-10-4-3 in the WCHA. With other games still going on across the WCHA, Bowling Green will wait for results to see their matchup for the first round of the WCHA playoffs next weekend.
