MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University hockey team soared to a 3-0 first period lead and never faced much drama as the Falcons thrashed Northern Michigan 5-1 for their first road WCHA victory of the season. The game was held at the Berry Events Center on Friday, Nov. 11. Ten BGSU skaters scored points to guide the Falcons in the victory.
"We had a good start and it carried on the entire first period," said BGSU head coach Chris Bergeron. "I didn't think we answered with a very good second, credit to Northern Michigan.
