BOWLING GREEN — The 2021 recruiting cycle is off to a promising start for Bowling Green, which landed commitments from several offensive skill players in April, including one of the top rising seniors in northwestern Ohio.
The Falcons, who signed the Mid-American Conference's second-rated group in 2020, according to 247Sports' composite rankings, desperately need another class of the same level.
Bowling Green patched or least began to address several areas of need with its incoming freshmen, but Falcons coach Scot Loeffler has undertaken a task that will take multiple recruiting cycles. Loeffler has said candidly that BG's rebuild will be made or broken largely by the classes of 2020 and 2021, in which the Falcons are betting heavily on their development of high school players.
