BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving program jumped out to an early lead against the Rockets in the first half of a two-day meet. After day one, BGSU leads 110-57. The Falcons flexed their muscles early and often in the first day of the competition, claiming multiple first place finishes. The momentum will be key in Saturday's (Feb. 9) finale that will begin at 11 a.m.

- Bowling Green started the day with a statement win. The relay team of Daisy Platts, Nikki Borgerding, Sarah Hennings and Franziska Wohlert took first place in the 400 Medley with a time of 3:48.
