SUGAR LAND, Texas – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team began play at the HBU Husky Invitational on Monday (March 14) at Riverbend Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas. Mallory Swartz paced the Falcons with a career-day. Swartz began with a score of 77 in the first round, tied for the second-best round of her collegiate career at the time. That was until she set a new career-best with a 75 during the second round of the day.
Swartz tied with teammate Kayla Davis and two others in the field for the most pars over the course of the two rounds, both logging 25 for the Falcons.
