BOWLING GREEN — Rob Whitehurst has been a busy guy the past couple of seasons.
There’s no denying how important of a role he plays in Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball program.
Whitehurst is in his 11th season as an athletic trainer with the program since graduating from BGSU with a master’s in kinesiology in 2014. He was promoted to associate athletic trainer in 2020.
Whitehurst has helped numerous BGSU basketball players overcome injuries, especially the past two years when the Falcons have had setbacks to most of the players on the roster.
