Bowling Green State University men's soccer standout Chris Sullivan has been named a Mid-American Conference Player of the Week. The league office made the announcement on Monday afternoon (March 15). Sullivan earns the honor for the second time this season, and the second time in his Falcon career.
Sullivan has earned co-Player-of-the-Week accolades from the conference, sharing this week's honor with Nick Markanich of Northern Illinois.
Sullivan, a native of Naperville, Ill. (North), scored a 'Golden Goal' in BGSU's lone match of the week. Sullivan headed home a cross in the 95th minute to give the Falcons a 1-0 win over nationally-ranked and previously unbeaten SIUE at Cochrane Stadium on Sunday afternoon (March 13).
