BOWLING GREEN — In the aftermath of Bowling Green's upset win against then-No. 18 Buffalo last season, a wide smile broke across Falcons coach Michael Huger's face.
Asked about the atmosphere at the Stroh Center that night, Huger, a former Falcons guard, paid the building a compliment that its builders envisioned from the very beginning. Huger said the roars from the crowd that night sounded just like Anderson Arena, the beloved-but-outdated predecessor to the Stroh Center.
The new building rocked like it never had before, and the result allowed BGSU students to storm the court to celebrate a win against a ranked team.
