BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (8-9-0, 7-6-0 CCHA) dropped a physical Friday battle to the No. 16 Minnesota State Mavericks (9-7-1, 6-4-1 CCHA) by a score of 2-1. Sophomore goaltender Christian Stoever had a career-best 43 saves, including an outstanding 38 in the first two periods. All three goals came in the second period, with the Mavericks scoring on the power play to start. Austen Swankler scored less than a minute later to tie it, but Ryan Sandelin's goal gave the Mavericks a lead that stood for the rest of the game.
