BOWLING GREEN — The scheduling gods may have switched things up on Bowling Green State University and Ohio, but the stakes in their showdown remain just as high.
The Falcons came up short in a must-win situation in the 2022 regular season finale vs. the Bobcats.
Saturday’s Mid-American Conference opener between the two schools at Doyt Perry Stadium has a similar feel, especially if the Falcons want to contend for a league championship later this season.
“It’s as critical as it gets,” BGSU coach Scot Loeffler said. “I love how they’ve scheduled it, it came down to us and them the last game of the year, and now they put it in Week [4] in between Michigan and Georgia Tech.
