The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team mounted a fourth-quarter comeback, but host Michigan State University answered that run, pulling away for a 99-69 win on Tuesday night (Nov. 6). The non-conference game, the season opener for both teams, was held at the Breslin Center.
Junior Andrea Cecil had a game-high 19 points to pace three double-digit scorers for the Falcons. Cecil was 4-for-6 from three-point range on the night.
In her collegiate debut, freshman Morgan McMillen had 17 points, and senior Sydney Lambert scored 14 points and dished out a team-leading five assists.
