OXFORD, Ohio — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team had a chance to get its season back on track Saturday against a Miami team with the worst record in the Mid-American Conference.
But instead of setting things right, the Falcons put together one of their worst performances of the season in a 55-51 loss at Millett Hall.
There were plenty of ugly numbers for BG, to be sure: The Falcons made just 35.1 percent of their shots, turned the ball over 16 times, and were outrebounded 46-36, just to pick a few.
But coach Michael Huger pointed to his team’s inability to execute when under duress as the biggest problem.
