BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball program snagged two wins on Saturday (April 2) winning both games of the doubleheader against Akron. Kyle Gurney led the way with three home runs over the two games, seeing BGSU win the first game 15-4 and the second game 9-3. The wins swing the series in favor of the Falcons with one more game left to play.
Offensively, the Falcons were dominant at the plate, knocking six home runs as a team. In addition to Gurney's three, Adam Furnas, Jack Krause and Nathan Rose each hit one.
