BOWLING GREEN — Todd Simon hasn’t spent a whole lot of time on Bowling Green State University’s campus since he was hired as the Falcons’ men’s basketball coach.
But the newest BGSU mentor already knows what drought that has plagued the program for more than five decades he’s hoping to end.
“We want to make this the golden era of Bowling Green basketball. I’m well aware that it’s been a couple years since we’ve been in the tournament,” Simon said during Thursday’s introductory news conference at the Stroh Center, “and I think that’s appealing to me because great things come to those who wait, and we’ve waited long enough.
