BOWLING GREEN — Todd Simon and his Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team knows exactly what the problem is that has led to the Falcons’ recent struggles.
Solving it, however, has proven to be an enormous challenge.
BGSU’s shooting woes returned in Tuesday night’s 66-58 Mid-American Conference loss to Miami (Ohio) at the Stroh Center. Just four days after a thrilling 76-68 victory over rival Toledo in which the Falcons shot 48.2 percent from the floor, BGSU made just 32.4 percent of its shots against Miami.
If not for a 9 of 17 shooting performance from Rashaun Agee, who had a strong double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds, BGSU would have shot just 25.
