Seimet, Kidwell and Marciniak Named to MAC Accolades

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Bowling Green volleyball program continued its success in the 2017 season by harboring five individual honors by the Mid-American Conference by three different players.

Junior libero Kallie Seimet has been recognized as 2017 MAC Volleyball Player of the Year, being the first from the program since 1995 (Carlyn Esslinger) and just the fifth player to earn the honor in program history. Additionally, Seimet was awarded 2017 MAC Defensive Player of the Year and to All-MAC First Team honors.

Bowling Green also had sophomore setter Isabelle Marciniak and freshman Katie Kidwell recognized, as Marciniak was voted to All-MAC Honorable Mention and Kidwell was selected to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
