Visiting Kent State University seized control in the second quarter, breaking open a tie game and going on to a 62-24 win over the Bowling Green State University football team Tuesday night (Nov. 10). The Mid-American Conference contest was held at Doyt Perry Stadium.
With the game knotted at 10-10 after a Matt McDonald touchdown run, the visiting Golden Flashes scored four second-quarter TDs to break the game open.
For the Falcons, freshman Terion Stewart carried the ball 14 times for 162 yards – all in the fourth quarter – and two touchdowns.
