Second-half comeback against Ohio falls short for BGSU

BOWLING GREEN — Robyn Fralick knew when she took the head women’s basketball coaching job at Bowling Green State University that she wouldn’t be able to find any “microwave answers” to fix a Falcons team that had won no more than 11 games each of the past four seasons.

The phrase is one Fralick’s dad used when she was growing up, and one that is apt now, as BG still searches for its first Mid-American Conference win after falling to Ohio on Saturday, 82-79.

“We live in this society, and I'm part of living in this society too, where you can microwave mac and cheese in two minutes, you can get an answer on Google in 30 seconds, and the reality is, anything done well and that is sustainable, there is no snap right to it,” Fralick said.
