BOWLING GREEN — It has been a long time since Bowling Green was this close to its dreams.
The Falcons, bowl ineligible every year since winning the Mid-American Conference title in 2015, can reverse that by beating Kent State Wednesday evening for their sixth win of the season. Furthermore, they can take another step toward accomplishing something else they haven’t in seven years: winning the MAC’s East Division and advancing to the conference championship.

When Kent State has the ball
In a down year for the MAC at large (especially on offense), most of the conference’s teams have had either a decent quarterback or a decent running back — not both.
