BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green has an opportunity to accomplish something rare Saturday afternoon at Mississippi State.
That’s right: The Falcons will have a shot at playing in a regulation, 60-minute football game. They’ve only played in one so far this season, losing 45-17 to UCLA in their opener, but the past two weeks against Eastern Kentucky and Marshall have provided enough overtimes to last a lifetime.
And then there’s the small matter of potentially upsetting the Bulldogs.
Bowling Green will be heavy underdogs against a talented SEC squad even accounting for Mississippi State’s meltdown against Louisiana State last week.
