A win for Bowling Green State University on Wednesday night would give the Falcons its longest winning streak under fifth-year head coach Scot Loeffler.
BGSU, however, will have to knock off an opponent that has had its number recently to accomplish it.
The Falcons (5-4, 3-2 Mid-American Conference) will take their three-game winning streak to Kent State to battle the Golden Flashes (1-8, 0-5 MAC) at Dix Stadium. A victory for BGSU would also make the Falcons bowl eligible for the second straight season.
BGSU is in a nearly identical situation as it was last year entering the Kent State game.
