ST. PAUL — A power-play goal from Taylor Schneider put Bowling Green State University ahead of Central Collegiate Hockey Association foe St. Thomas near the midpoint of the third period, and a late tally helped lift the Falcons over the Tommies 4-2 on Friday at the St. Thomas Ice Arena in St. Paul.
The Falcons have won their second straight following a three-game losing skid.
BGSU (10-8-3, 7-5-1 CCHA) opened the scoring with a Nathan Burke goal with 12:38 to play in the first period. Assists came from Max Coyle and T.J. Lloyd, who returned after sustaining an injury in the team’s tournament in Milwaukee leading up to New Year’s Day.
