BOWLING GREEN – The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball program will lose its leading scorer and rebounder as junior guard Carly Santoro will leave the program.
Santoro’s father, Bellevue girls basketball coach Kory Santoro, said on Twitter, “So proud [Carly Santoro is] receiving her degree in May. We have been blessed for the opportunity [she] was given by BG and to watch you play as a Falcon. Looking forward to see where basketball takes you and what uniform you put on for your last year.”
As a graduate transfer, the 5-10 Santoro would have one year of eligibility and would be able to play immediately.
