Laredo, Texas - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished the first day of the Border Olympics, hosted by the University of Houston, and currently sits tied for 13th place with a score of 598 (+22).
Rodrigue Vie led the charge for BGSU on day one, shooting a 143 (-1). Vie is tied for the most pars for any Falcon with 25 and is also the lone player for the Orange and Brown to record an eagle.
Nick Hofland is currently T-34th with a 147 (+3) and is tied with Vie for the most pars on the team with 25.
