BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Miami scored seven times over the last three innings to take control on Tuesday (April 11), as the RedHawks downed the Bowling Green State University softball team, 9-0, at Meserve Field.
Karli Spaid homered twice for the RedHawks (21-14, 9-6 Mid-American Conference), driving in five runs. Miami scored a pair of third-inning runs to take the lead, and after RedHawk pitcher Brianna Pratt got out of jams in both the first and third innings, she retired the last 14 Falcons she faced.
