BOWLING GREEN — The tide of Saturday’s game between Bowling Green State University and Akron turned early and, unfortunately for the Falcons, often.
It doesn’t look so bad in the box score. BGSU finished 3 of 5 on red zone opportunities.
But, expand that a bit more into the game’s script, and it’s easy to pick apart where momentum fell off for the Falcons in their 35-20 loss to the Zips at Doyt Perry Stadium.
