BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University is in an ideal spot atop the Central Collegiate Hockey Association standings.
But the Falcons know there is still a lot that needs to happen if they want to stay there at the end of the regular season.
BGSU (14-12, 11-7 CCHA), which has won six straight games, jumped to first in the league with 35 points after sweeping Bemidji State at home last weekend. The Falcons are five points ahead of second-place Minnesota State (14-9-1, 9-6-1), but have played at least two more conference games than every other league opponent.
