BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University football coach Scot Loeffler has started a lot of his press conferences this season with a common theme.
The sixth-year Falcons’ mentor usually mentions how his squad had a good week of practice. Or how much BGSU improved in certain areas. Or how productive the Falcons’ early season stretch has been between games.
“There’s a reason that we were 7-6 last year. Last year, we could go down and we could beat Georgia Tech by (11) and it really wasn’t even close, to be quite honest with you. That’s taking nothing away from Georgia Tech; we just played really, really well in that football game,” Loeffler said of a 38-27 win over the Yellow Jackets.
