BOWLING GREEN — Nathan Archer has made the most of his time wearing a Bowling Green State University baseball jersey the past few years.
His teammates and coaches are making sure to savor every moment.
“We’re enjoying the time we have left with him, because he’s going to play professional baseball, and he’s going to play on all of our TVs one day,” fourth-year BGSU coach Kyle Hallock said. “He’s probably this program’s next big leaguer, because of everything he’s worked on and developed over these 2½, three years here at Bowling Green.”
Archer, a junior center fielder, has developed into one of the most complete players in the Mid-American Conference.
