BOWLING GREEN — As Bowling Green State University's new director of football operations, Damaris Linker is the ultimate behind-the-scenes problem solver — and a trailblazer.
Linker will oversee the daily operations of the Falcons football program, including travel arrangements, housing, meals, and academic compliance for the players.
“I'm a jack of all trades. I'm the behind-the-scenes person that makes sure everything gets taken care of,” Linker said.
A native of Lanark, Ill., Linker brings with her several years of administrative experience at Texas Tech University, the University at Mississippi, and Ohio University.
As one of the few female directors of operations in college football, Linker does not take that aspect of her role lightly.
