Original Release EDINA, Minn. – After posting a 2.00 points per game average with 10 points in five Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoff games, senior Matt Pohlkamp of the Bowling Green hockey team has been named WCHA Player of the Month for March.
On March 3, the senior forward fueled the Falcons 6-1 scoring spree with a four point performance, giving Bowling Green a game up in the best-of-three series against Ferris State. The four point night tied his career-high and was a new season best for the senior, and was followed up with a pair of assists in Saturday's 5-3 win to seal the weekend sweep of the Bulldogs and a six point weekend for Pohlkamp.
