Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's basketball player Daeqwon Plowden and women's basketball player Angela Perry.
Daeqwon Plowden, a junior from Philadelphia, Pa., had a career night in Bowling Green's 68-65 win over Oakland on Saturday. Plowden recorded the third double-double of his career, as he finished with 10 rebounds and a career-high 23 points.
