KALAMAZOO — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team doesn’t have any shortage of playmakers who can create on their own offensively.
When BGSU needs a basket, the Falcons can rely on a multitude of standouts.
That was certainly apparent on Tuesday night.
Whether it was Trey Thomas, Derrick Butler, Marcus Johnson, or Javontae Campbell, BGSU leaned on its talent when it mattered the most. Each player made critical and tough shots in the final three minutes in helping the Falcons pull out an 83-79 Mid-American Conference win at Western Michigan.
“It feels good to have guys you can rely on when you have the basketball, especially in tough situations, late clock situations,” BGSU sophomore forward Wilguens Jr.
