BOWLING GREEN — Todd Simon has shown an ability to develop his players not only in his short time at Bowling Green State University, but in his nearly 20-year coaching career.
There’s no question skill has been a contributing factor to the second-year Falcons’ men’s basketball coach bringing in a solid group of transfers for the upcoming season.
“That was definitely a big standout, just him showing me how players were before at different programs and how they turned out to be when they got to Bowling Green,” said Marcus Johnson, a 6-foot-7 forward who recently transferred to BGSU after excelling at NCAA Division II Wheeling University.
